Bless The Lord!
By Rusty Wilson

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Psalm ‭103:1-2‬‬‬‬‬‬

As the body of Christ we know that we are blessed of the Lord. We are blessed each and everyday. One thing we need to remember daily is to bless the Lord, we need to praise and thank Him. The Amplified version says, Bless (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) the Lord… We need to be sincere and affectionate to God, not just when we are approaching Him when we need something, but approaching Him to thank and praise Him for what He has done, praise and thank Him for what He is doing now and praise and thank Him for what He is about to do for His glory.

Praise Him and thank Him for all His benefits that He has given to us. We can thank and praise God for His Love, His peace, His mercy and most important thanksgiving and praise is for sending His Son Jesus to pay the price for our sin that we could never pay by dying on the cross and raising Him from the dead on the third day.

There is so much that we can praise and thank God for, we just have to stop during our busy day and bless His holy name. It pleases God to bless Him with a affectionate heart and let Him love on us and spend the time with Him that He wants and truly deserves. Let us bless God daily and see what powerful, blessed, prosperous and highly favored day we have.
